Photoshop for Photographers 5: Advanced Raw Workflow
Learn how to get the most from Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop CS4. We cover a start to finish workflow - from downloading the images, to processing the Raw files, to exporting the final corrected images via a batch processing script. Special empahsis will be placed on utilizing the new Adjustment Brush and Graduated Filter.

Digital SLR & Camera RAW Field Workshop
A one-day intensive course in the field and classroom, using digital SLRs and advanced Adobe Photoshop Camera RAW workflow. Bring your DSLR Camera - we provide the computer workstations and software! This class is appropriate for beginners, as well as more experienced users with new cameras or transitioning to digital from film SLRs.

HDR Workshop - High Dynamic Range Photography with Photomatix Pro
The high contrast of normal sunny daylight scenes is often hard to capture with a single shot. HDR photography circumvents these limitations by combining multiple exposure values in a single image. This one-day workshop is a combination of hands-on shooting and classroom instruction that explores advanced techniques in tonemapping using Photomatix Pro to create the HDR image.

Mastering HDR Challenges • 0711/2009 - 07/12/2009
Over the course of two days, we will thoroughly explore the camera settings and major software tools needed for high quality HDR. This workshop is a hands-on combination of shooting in the field with the instructors, followed by extensive workflow demonstrations back in the classroom. We will cover the theory behind HDR capture, practical shooting strategies, composition and exposure, as well as post-processing.

Capture Your Own Vision
This is an advanced workshop focused on developing your own style and capturing your own vision as a photographer. Learn to see better, plan compositions, and translate your ideas into an effective image. Plan to bring a minimum of six RAW images to work on in class, although we encourage you to bring more. You'll benefit from the knowledge of two instructors each presenting different topics, Uwe Steinmueller and Brad Polt-Jones, with support from Bettina Steinmueller. There will be ample time alloted for working one-on-one with the instructors.

In this class, we’ll be exploring the incredible pairing of Canon’s 5DMarkII and Final Cut Pro. From video shooting techniques to the format-specific editing workflow, you’ll become well versed in the exciting new digital cinematography features this DSLR provides. Advanced Digital Printing Clinic
Sharpen your Photoshop skills in a unique one on one workshop environment. Limited to only 4 participants, spend an entire day editing and printing your own images with the state of the art Epson 4800 printer. Complete Adobe Lightroom, Part I - Organize and Share
Digital photography lets you take thousands of low-cost images. The only problem is storing and organizing them for fast, easy access. A well-designed system lets you make the most of your digital images and avoid chaos and frustration.
This workshop covers the Library, Slideshow and Web modules. You will learn how to design a logical file structure, build an efficient backup system, create an easy-to-use naming structure, and use “metadata” to simplify tracking images from program to program. Integrate image management into your workflow using Adobe Lightroom software and learn how to implement an advanced keyword system for tracking the content of your images.
Learn how to manage Collections to organize your images. We will also cover the Slideshow and Web modules in greater detail, including the use of custom templates for unique and powerful automatic web design. Learn how to set up a web server to post your images online for personal or client review.

Complete Adobe Lightroom, Part II - Develop and Print
Complete Lightroom Part II covers the Raw conversion tools and Print module. We focus on maximizing the quality of your images in the Develop module, with a detailed explanation of each toolset, including the new selective control with the Adjustment brush. Learn how to set-up batch processing, roundtrip editing of images from Lightroom into Adobe Photoshop CS3, and working with virtual copies of your original files.
We will also demonstrate a color managed print workflow from start to finish. Build custom templates for the Print module, understand custom print profiles, and use Adobe Lightroom with dedicated printing software.
It is recommended that participants have a thorough understanding of the Library module and database structure of Lightroom before taking this class.
