About Future Light Workshops
Future Light Digital Workshops has created the premier high-tech learning experience designed from the ground up for digital photographers. Making a smooth transition from film-based photography to a digital workflow introduces an entirely new set of skills and equipment necessary to create successful photographs and prints. Future Light offers participants both field and classroom workshops with personalized instruction in a highly motivated and creative setting.

Our workshops are held in a classroom space dedicated to this purpose, conveniently located in the Calumet Photographic retail center at 18th and Bryant in San Francisco’s Mission / Potrero neighborhood. The state-of-the-art Future Light classroom features new dual-core Intel iMac workstations for each participant, and professional Epson pigment ink jet printers. Future Light works with and is supported by industry leaders such as; Adobe, Epson, Microsoft, X-Rite, Wacom, ColorByte Software, PictureCode, HDR Soft, Photo Acute, and Calumet.
Small classes - just 6 to 14 participants - ensure individual attention and a customized learning experience. Lessons designed by and for photographers means that you will have material relevant to your needs. Many classes include tutorials on CD for further review and study at a later date.
